Description:

This is the third and last joint work between Alain Delon and director José Giovanni They previously made Deux hommes dans la ville (1973) and Gitan, Le ( 1975) movies. The actor tried to switch to the role of the father. But the audience didn't like him taking the noble father role, while they're used to him being the single hero. Jacques Batkins, a character that pays for the sins and bad deeds of its teenage son, Eddy. Under the influence of drugs, a teenager, Eddy, kills a policeman. His father, Jacques, pleads extenuating circumstances and nearly succeeds in gaining the confidence of the policeman's widow. But the press reveals that Jacques is an ex-gangster who has spent time in prison. Delon also co-wrote and co-produced.
